I work with a lot of researchers and the risk when they present is that although they understand what they’re talking about, the jargon scares everyone else away! Communicating your research in a simple, easily understandable way that is relevant to your audience is vital to getting your research “out there” and Melissa highlights this beautifully in this TED talk.
